The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution regulating the process of providing compensation for utility services. This applies to the temporary accommodation of evacuated individuals at various evacuation points, such as assembly and interim points, transit centres, and reception points.
The owners or tenants of these points can receive compensation if the premises are provided by decision of the authorities. It covers services such as the supply of natural gas, electricity, thermal energy, as well as liquefied gas and solid or liquid furnace fuel in the absence of centralised heating.
Compensation will cover costs for centralised water supply, sewage, waste removal, and household waste management. Additionally, compensations are envisaged for subscriber services for these utilities.
