At the Lviv Regional State Administration, a Joint Statement was signed between the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority. The document was signed by Serhiy Tkachuk and Gerard Bakker, heads of the respective agencies.
The cooperation between Ukraine and the Netherlands is aimed at implementing European standards in the field of food safety, consumer protection, and animal health and welfare. This will allow the adoption of effective solutions already successfully implemented in the Netherlands and enhance the skills of Ukrainian specialists.
The head of the region, Maksym Kozytskyi, noted that this initiative is particularly important for the Lviv region, as the area is actively developing its agricultural sector and international relations. The adoption of advanced European approaches and the enhancement of the professional capacity of control services will contribute to increasing trust in the control system.
