The proposed draft decision identifies three monuments to be demolished – the memorial complex “Eternal Flame”, a memorial to the hero of the Soviet Union Alexei Lopatin and a memorial at the site of the battle of Soviet soldiers with Nazi invaders in the village of .
In addition, the culture department of the Chervonohrad City Council should conduct an inventory of existing facilities for the existence of symbols of the communist and Nazi totalitarian regimes.
By the way, in many cities of Ukraine the process of demolition of monuments related to Soviet symbols has already begun.
