On August 10, during the session, deputies of the Chervonograd City Council voted to dismantle the symbols of the communist and Nazi totalitarian regime on the territory of the community.
It is, in particular, about:
◾️sculptural elements of the historical landmark of local importance, the Fraternal Grave of Soviet border soldiers in the village of Mezhyrechye;
◾️monument “Brother’s grave to the Soviet partisans and civilians of the village of Zavonie, who died at the hands of German-fascist invaders on March 6, 1944” in Sosnivka;
◾️ memorial stele and memorial plaques of the “Eternal Flame” memorial complex (monument to Soviet soldiers who died during the liberation of Chervonograd in 1944) on Ivasyuka Street, Chervonograd.
Works on the dismantling of symbols of the communist and Nazi totalitarian regime will be carried out by the communal enterprise “Komunalnyk”.
The graphic composition “Olympics-80” on the wall of the Children’s and Youth Sports School No. 1 in Chervonohrad will be removed during the insulation work on the facade of the Youth Sports School.
