At a regular session of the Ivano-Frankivsk settlement council, a decision was taken to lease the premises of the former polyclinic to the public organisation “Combat Brotherhood of War Veterans and Persons with Disabilities as a Result of War ‘Surma'”.
The public organisation “Surma” plans to use these premises to establish the Yaniv Veteran Development Centre. It will host spaces for learning, support, the development of entrepreneurial initiatives, as well as for communication between male and female veterans, their families, and the families of Defenders.
The idea is that, after completing their service, military personnel and members of their families will be able to gain new opportunities at the centre for self-realisation in civilian life, and find support and like-minded people for joint projects.
The initiative involves the Ivano-Frankivsk settlement council, the public organisation “Combat Brotherhood of War Veterans and Persons with Disabilities as a Result of War ‘Surma'”, as well as bodies working in the field of veteran policy and social protection in the Yavoriv area.
