During this week, acaricidal treatment of parks and green areas will be carried out on the territory of the Lviv Territorial Community. Therefore, residents are asked to refrain from visiting them, in particular with animals, for 72 hours after treatment.

Yes, parks and green areas will be treated with a drug that has a targeted effect exclusively on parasites and is not harmful to humans and animals. However, the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources recommends refraining from visiting parks (in particular, from walking dogs) within 72 hours of treatment.
The department also adds that the treatment is carried out by means of “Cypertrin”, complying with all requirements and in favorable weather conditions.
