The warm and sunny April is conducive to a number of repairs on the roads of the city and the territorial community. As a rule, these are works to eliminate excessive potholes on the roadway.
So, these days, according to Volodymyr Suda, head of SMU, their road repair service has been carrying out routine patching on Datska and Vynnychenka streets. Sambirska Street and partially Stryiska Street – from Vynnychenka Street to the exit from the city – were also covered by patching.
Large-scale work was also underway on Lesia Ukrainka Street towards the entrance to the Ivan Franko People’s House (from the back). According to Volodymyr Suda, there was no road there, so they had to fill it with gravel and then asphalt it. In addition, new curbs were installed on this section of the road. All the work lasted for several days in a row and has now reached its finish line.
These days, the utility plans to start milling Mazepa Street. Everything will depend on the weather.
As of today, a contract has been signed with a contractor to overhaul a section of Stryiska Street – from the intersection with Lesia Ukrainka and Mazepa streets to Vynnychenko street.
