Lviv is preparing for a difficult winter. If there is no electricity supply in the city for more than a day and there are problems with heating, educational institutions will not work, and heating points for residents will be deployed in their premises.
In total, there are 118 schools in the territory of the Lviv city territorial community that are equipped with metal or tile stoves and have generators. Therefore, residents will be able to come to these educational institutions to warm up, drink hot tea, and recharge their phones.
We will remind, in Lviv they plan to gradually deploy heating points for the population. There are already 18 locations where residents can warm up or charge their phones in case of power outages. If the situation in the city worsens, and there will be no electricity for more than 24 hours, the second wave will be launched in the city and an additional two hundred heating points will be opened (which includes schools).
