For more than a year, the Support Office for the families of military personnel and their family members has been operating in Lviv region: what kind of help can you get here

During this time, the specialists of the Office processed the appeals of about 2,000 people.

“What to do if your relative has gone missing, been captured, died? Where can our defenders and their relatives consult about receiving social benefits? How to get legal support, psychological or other support?

In order for our soldiers and their families to receive the maximum amount of verified information in one location, the Support Office for the families of military personnel and their family members has been operating in Lviv region for over a year.

It provides services free of charge by representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, lawyers, psychologists, specialists of the department of social protection of the population of Lviv Oblast, volunteers, among whom are mothers and wives of military personnel. During this time, experts have processed the appeals of about 2,000 people,” Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv OVA, reports.

He also added that representatives of the Office regularly go to the communities of the region, where, together with colleagues from the Coordination Center at the Lviv OVA and law enforcement officers, they help military families to solve issues that concern them on the spot, or to receive referrals. Since August, 15 such meetings have been held in the districts. About 1,500 people took part in them.

“During the meeting with the head of the Support Office Anna Kuzyuta and his employees, we agreed that we will organize such trips even more often so that families can receive reliable information as quickly as possible. In addition, an internship program for lawyers will soon be launched in the Office,” the head of the Lviv Oblast emphasized.
