A tender was announced for the reconstruction of the biathlon shooting range in Novoyavorivsk. The client of the works is the Department of Capital Construction of Lviv Oblast.
The total estimated cost of the reconstruction of the biathlon shooting range and roller-skating tracks in the regional Olympic training center in Novoyavorivsk is approximately 100 million hryvnias.
According to the project, worn-out road clothing will be replaced at the site, the latest lighting system will be put into operation, the longitudinal drainage system will be improved and drainage will be provided. In this way, they plan to improve the transport and operational performance of four roller-skating tracks.
“Anyone, including children, will be able to train at the facility. This will contribute to the patriotic upbringing of our youth, they will train shooting skills from a young age. The enemy forces us to think several steps ahead, so these skills are definitely useful during a full-scale war,” said Yuriy Buchko, deputy chief of Lviv OVA.
In addition, the regional Olympic training center in Novoyavorivsk plans to change the geometric parameters of the roller-skating tracks, deliver new launchers for snow-covered tracks, provide equipment and equipment for the maintenance of the biathlon shooting range.
The sections of the four ski-roller tracks that are being designed are located in the forest massif. Their total length is more than 7 kilometers. The track is complemented by a penalty circle with a length of 150 meters, shooting and referee zones.
This area will be accessible to people with reduced mobility. After passing international certification, international competitions will be held on this track.
