As a result of the inspection, six protocols were drawn up against a Lviv carrier for violating the law

Inspections of road transport companies to check their readiness for the autumn-winter period continue in the region.

On 15 October, inspections of road transport companies to check their readiness for the autumn-winter period and the operation of the e-ticket system started in Lviv region. They will last for two months.

Recently, employees of the Transport Department of the Road Department, together with employees of the Road Safety Department of the Patrol Police in Lviv Oblast, checked the carrier Uspich BM LLC for compliance with the requirements of motor vehicle legislation when releasing buses to the line.

As a result, they found inadequate technical condition of several buses and deficiencies in the permit documentation (the driver did not have an approved traffic plan), which resulted in 6 administrative decisions.

“Drivers of road transport companies are required to undergo a daily medical examination before leaving the company, and the bus itself is checked by a mechanic before departure, which he makes a corresponding entry in the vehicle release log,” said Orest Shulikovsky, director of the road transport department at Lviv Regional State Administration.

Success BM has been operating in the passenger transportation market since 2000. The company’s rolling stock consists of 175 vehicles, including reserve buses. The average number of drivers is 240. The total number of employees of the company is over 300 people. Three qualified vehicle inspectors monitor the technical condition of vehicles on a daily basis, and 4 medical workers conduct daily health checks of drivers.

The Department of Road Services calls on residents of the region to contact the department in case of violations of the schedule or traffic pattern by carriers to make management decisions and prevent such violations in the future. To register a complaint, please call the regional hotline at 1684 or the government hotline at 1545.
