The commission’s decision is final.
Today, June 7, the competition commission at the Lviv Regional Council has determined the winner for the position of director of the regional cultural institution – the communal institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Historical and Ethnographic Museum “Boikivshchyna” (Sambir).
According to the results of the competition, the winner for the position of museum director was Olha Bilas (now the acting director of the museum).
Before determining the winners, all candidates presented their programs for the development of the institution.
The competition commission also decided to recommend the property management of the joint property of the Lviv Regional Council to conclude a five-year contract with the winner.
“The museum must have a new face, and the organization of work by the new head of the museum must be systematic.
The leadership of the regional military administration is ready to help the leader, but we want to see the clear implementation of the strategy for the development of the institution presented today, clear practical steps, and together we will implement them – to turn the current state of the museum into a pearl of Boykiv culture.
I would like to point out that those deputies of the regional council of the seventh term who voted for the appointment of the previous head are responsible for what the museum is today.
We must understand that this is a regional institution, and we, as the regional government, strive for it to develop and attract new visitors – both local and tourists,” commented Ivan Sobko, profile deputy head of the Lviv OVA, member of the commission, on the decision of the competition commission. .
It should be noted that the composition of the competition commission includes the deputy head of the Lviv Regional Administrative Office, representatives of the management of jointly owned property of the Lviv Regional Council, representatives of the communal institution whose head will be appointed, representatives of public organizations, and deputies of the Lviv Regional Council.
It should be added that this year the competitive commission under the Lviv Regional Council has already appointed directors of five regional cultural institutions, in particular, three libraries, as well as a museum and a theater.
