During the day on 23 July, a deterioration in weather conditions is expected across Lviv region. According to the Lviv Regional Centre for Hydrometeorology of Ukraine, thunderstorms are forecast, with squalls of 15–20 m/s in places and hail.
Residents of Lviv region are urged to exercise caution and follow safety rules during the bad weather. They are advised to avoid staying near trees, billboards, power lines and other unstable structures, and also not to park cars under trees or near objects that could be damaged by strong winds.
Where possible, people are advised to remain indoors until the thunderstorm has passed. Drivers are recommended to be especially careful on the roads, reduce speed and maintain a safe distance.
