During the day on 27 July, weather conditions in Lviv region are expected to deteriorate, with thunderstorms, squally winds and possible hail.
According to meteorologists, thunderstorms are forecast, with gusts of south-westerly wind of 17–22 m/s, in places heavy rain of 15–49 mm (in the mountains 15–29 mm over 12 hours or less), as well as squalls of 17–22 m/s and hail with a diameter of 6–19 mm.
Residents of the region are asked to be cautious when outdoors and, if possible, to avoid staying near trees, advertising structures and power lines.
