As part of the Vision for Ukraine mission, 19 complex oculoplastic surgeries were conducted.
American surgeons George Corona and Stuart Seiff, along with a team of Ukrainian ophthalmologists led by Natalia Hudyma and Andriana Pater, worked on the most challenging cases. They dealt with congenital defects, trauma consequences, reconstructions, and congenital eyelid defects.
Every day, specialists change the lives of children from all over Ukraine, restoring functions, improving vision, and offering hope. “Each such mission is an opportunity to give children a life-changing result. We see how international cooperation opens new approaches and allows us to do more than yesterday,” notes Natalia Hudyma.
