British donors deliver endoscopic equipment and 23 vehicles for Lviv region

The King Danylo LNMU University Hospital has received modern endoscopic equipment worth almost 3 million hryvnias from the British charity organisation Convoy4Ukraine. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Military Administration.

According to the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, the new equipment will enable doctors to examine the organs of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas and bile ducts more precisely, as well as to carry out complex minimally invasive procedures. The equipment will also be used in preparation for liver transplant operations.

Together with the medical equipment, volunteers delivered 23 vehicles to the Lviv region, which will be used to evacuate and rescue people in areas of active fighting.

Since 2022 they have completed 13 humanitarian missions and raised around 2.6 million pounds sterling in support of Ukraine. Our British friends continue to collect funds, find vehicles and equipment, and travel thousands of kilometres to strengthen our soldiers and medics. Enormous gratitude for such consistency and compassion — we will always remember this solidarity — Maksym Kozytskyi

The Lviv Regional Military Administration expressed gratitude to the staff of the University Hospital and to all Ukrainian medical professionals who, in wartime conditions, continue to save lives and advance domestic medicine, as well as to the British partners for their systematic support of Ukraine.
