From June 22 to 27, a team of Czech surgeons will be working at the Lviv Regional Veterans Hospital. Patients will be able to receive free surgical treatment and consultations.
The MEDEVAC mission team includes the following specialists: Josef Kraus, MD – mission leader, specialist in upper limb surgery; Petr Banar, MD – expert in foot and heel bone surgery; Klara Schwarzmannova, MD – plastic and microsurgeon, specialist in replantation; Martin Ouzky, MD, Ing, FEBOPRAS – head of the plastic surgery section, specialist in aesthetic reconstruction.
The areas of assistance include limb reconstruction after injuries, elimination of chronic mobility limitations, microsurgery and tissue restoration, as well as correction of aesthetic defects after injuries, surgeries, or congenital defects.
