Professor Pierre Corée performed complex surgeries in Lviv for the second time.
In two days, he, along with Ukrainian specialists, operated on six children from different cities of Ukraine. All cases involved large defects after previous surgeries that could not be corrected in Ukraine. One child underwent a transplant of their own bone to the defect area.
\”The French doctor highly appreciated the level of surgical skill of Ukrainian colleagues and the multidisciplinary approach in our clinic,\” the statement said.
The visit took place within the framework of a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministries of Health of Ukraine and France. The mission was made possible thanks to the support of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and other officials.
