Convoy of Life – 12 more Ukrainian children with cancer will be treated in European clinics

Already 12 “convoys of life” with 12 sick Ukrainian children left Lviv for leading European medical clinics

According to the staff of the Lviv Regional Council of the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Center, the patients include children from 7 months to 15 years old, from Kyiv, Kherson, Zhytomyr and Poltava regions, with diagnoses of oncopathology and primary immunodeficiency.

Western Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Center remains a place of rescue for seriously ill children from other regions of Ukraine. According to doctors, children who need specific treatment or one that is currently unavailable in Ukraine are being evacuated to Poland. However, about 30% of all patients remain in treatment in Lviv, receive timely professional care and recover.
