The device for 24-hour blood tests for the smallest patients was received by the city hospital of St. Nicholas, located on Orlyka Street. This device allows you to conduct up to 200 analyzes every hour.
The hospital received a modern biochemical analyzer with peripheral equipment and a set of consumables thanks to the “Wings of Hope” Charitable Foundation.
“Research performed by the device is intended for the diagnosis of most diseases. They determine the amount of glucose, bilirubin, trace elements, enzymes and other elements in the blood. The results can be obtained in no more than half an hour and at any time of the day,” the doctors explain.
About 90,000 biochemical blood tests need to be carried out in this hospital every month. The previous analyzer, which was used by doctors, already required constant maintenance and quick replacement. Therefore, the doctors are grateful to the foundation and its benefactors for the purchase of a new modern device.
