The project is implemented thanks to the charitable contributions of many Ukrainian and international partners and patrons.
Already this month, the Superhumans Center will start working on the basis of one of the hospitals in the Lviv region. The goal of Superhumans is to provide quality and affordable medical services to Ukrainians who suffered as a result of Russia’s armed aggression. It is about both civilians and military personnel. Treatment and prosthetics will be free for them. This was announced by the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.
To receive help with prosthetics, a person must get in line by filling out an application on the website using the link.
The cost of the project, according to preliminary estimates, is 50 million dollars. As the head of the Lviv region noted, such world-famous people as the singer Sting, Howard Buffett, Richard Branson and many others believed in the Superhumans Center project, donated funds and became ambassadors. Among those who joined the supervisory board are the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko. World-famous adventurer and TV host Bear Grylls has also recently joined the Superhumans ambassador team.
By the way, Howard Buffett became the biggest patron of the superclinic, which will soon start working on the basis of one of the medical institutions of the Lviv region. He donated 16 million 300 thousand dollars. Almost all funds from this amount were directed to repair and purchase equipment for the first building of the clinic. One million is for prostheses for the first patients.
To the topic: Superhumans Center will provide quality medical services to three thousand patients a year.
“Attracting well-known sponsors to invest in the Superhumans project is a huge effort of the entire team of the center headed by Andrii Stavnitser. Ukraine is now on the lips of many world leaders, artists, and politicians. To contribute to the development and restoration of our country and help our people became one of the manifestations of solidarity with Ukrainians. Therefore, it is not surprising that hundreds of famous people have become benefactors. By our example, we are showing the whole world that even in times of war, we continue to implement successful projects, open new and new centers for rehabilitation, etc.,” Maksym Kozytskyi, head of Lviv OVA, said in an interview for Lviv Media.
