At an extraordinary session on 9 July, deputies of the Lviv Regional Council approved the heads of four regional medical institutions, selected through an open competitive process.
General Director of the Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Repressed Persons named after Yurii Lypa has been appointed as Volodymyr Krasokha. The Clinical Centre of Paediatric Medicine will be headed by Bohdan Maliovnyi. Director of the Lviv Regional Blood Service Centre is now Amizian Artash, and of the Regional Information and Analytical Centre for Medical Statistics — Bohdan Khobzei.
All four candidates went through an open competition and emerged as its winners. Following the recommendations of the selection committee, the regional council session endorsed their appointments. The Department for the Management of Jointly Owned Property must conclude five-year contracts with the new heads.
