On 19 October, the Teplokrovni mobile donor hub will be operating for the first time in Stryi, on Independence Square. In the double-decker bus, everyone willing to help will be able to donate blood for wounded service personnel and civilians.
Donors will be received from 9:00 to 13:00 near the “Three Awakeners” monument. The ground floor of the bus will host an exhibition about blood, while the upper floor will offer a comfortable donation area staffed by medics from the Volyn Blood Service Centre.
The organisers stress that blood is needed every day, it cannot be manufactured artificially, and a single donation can help three people. The mobile hub project was created by PUMB and Mastercard in partnership with DonorUA and “Agents of Blood”, with UKRNAFTA as the fuel partner.
