Water levels forecast to rise on the Dniester’s left-bank tributaries

Over 6–8 June, water levels on the left-bank tributaries of the Dniester in Khmelnytskyi and Vinnytsia regions are expected to rise due to forecast rainfall. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Hydrometeorological Centre.

According to meteorologists, water levels may increase by 0.2–0.7 m relative to readings at 08:00 on 5 June. The Centre notes that this rise is forecast without adverse consequences.

At the same time, in areas where heavy local downpours occur, the formation of significant local runoff is possible, which residents of riparian areas should bear in mind.
