In Lviv region on 23–24 June, extreme (5th class) and high (4th class) fire danger is forecast, creating an increased risk of fires in natural ecosystems where there are sources of open flame.
It is noted separately that on 23 June, extreme and high fire danger is expected across most of the region, with some areas seeing low (2nd class) or no (1st class) fire danger, while in the mountain districts it will be moderate (3rd class).
Under such conditions, residents and visitors to the region are urged to exercise the utmost caution with fire in open areas, in forests and near fields, in order to prevent the outbreak and spread of fires.
