In Lviv region, a deterioration in weather conditions is expected throughout 29 June. According to the Lviv Regional Hydrometeorological Centre, within the next hour and persisting until the end of the day, thunderstorms are forecast across the region, with localised wind squalls of 15–20 m/s and hail with a diameter of 6–19 mm.
Residents of the region are urged to exercise caution and follow safety rules during severe weather. During a thunderstorm, it is not recommended to stay under trees, near power lines, advertising structures or other unstable constructions.
Experts emphasise that observing basic safety measures will help reduce the risk of injury and damage to property during strong winds and hail.
