In most parts of Lviv region on 29 May, extreme and high fire danger is expected. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Hydrometeorological Centre.
According to forecasters, on 29 May extreme (5th class) and high (4th class) fire danger will prevail, while in some areas it will be absent (1st class) or low (2nd class). Weather conditions will contribute to a high probability of the occurrence and spread of fires in ecosystems in the presence of sources of open flame ignition.
A warning has also been issued regarding fire danger across the territory of Lviv region: until the end of 28 May and throughout 29–31 May predominantly extreme (5th class) and high (4th class) fire danger is expected, except in the southern part of the region.
