From 25 to 30 June, an extreme fire danger of the fifth and highest class is forecast for the territory of Lviv region and the city of Lviv. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Hydrometeorological Centre.
Under such conditions, any open source of fire can lead to rapid and almost uncontrollable spread of fire.
During this period, it is strictly prohibited to:
- light campfires;
- burn dry vegetation, leaves, grass and plant waste;
- have picnics with open fires in forests, parks and shelterbelts;
- throw cigarette ends and matches near dry grass and forested areas.
Residents are urged to exercise caution to protect themselves, their loved ones, their homes and the forested areas of Lviv region.
