In the Lviv Region, plans are underway to establish the rehabilitation centre ‘Oasis of Revival’, which will provide comprehensive support for veterans. This initiative is crucial due to the increasing number of individuals requiring recovery and reintegration into civilian life.
The initiative was discussed during a meeting with international humanitarian organisations Global Response Medicine and Home Base. The project envisions the creation of a modern infrastructure for long-term medical care, physical and psychological rehabilitation, as well as professional retraining.
Prosthetics will also receive significant attention. A special focus will be on scientific activities: researching injuries and developing innovations in military rehabilitation. While the Lviv Region already has a strong medical foundation, it is essential to work in a coordinated manner amid growing challenges.
