Higher water levels forecast in Dniester basin rivers in Lviv region

In the rivers of the Dniester basin in Lviv region, water levels are forecast to rise over the coming days. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Centre for Hydrometeorology of Ukraine, whose notice was circulated by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region.

According to meteorologists, in the second half of the day on 1 June and throughout 2 June, rivers in the Dniester basin (Lviv region) are expected to see water levels rise by 0.2–0.7 m relative to the readings at 08:00 on 1 June.

The notice states that the projected rise in water levels will occur without adverse consequences.
