On 13–14 October, across the territory of the Lviv region and in Lviv, fog with visibility of 200–500 metres is expected at night and in the morning, as well as ground frost and, in places, air frost down to 0–3° below zero. This was reported by the Lviv region emergency services.
Due to the worsening weather conditions, rescuers are urging the public to be cautious on the roads and at home.
Drivers are advised to reduce speed in fog, maintain a safe distance, avoid sudden manoeuvres and drive with dipped headlights on. Pedestrians are advised to cross the road only at designated crossings and make sure drivers can see them.
