
On 8 September, a high (4th class) and extreme (5th class) fire risk, and in some places a moderate (3rd class) fire risk, is forecast for Lviv region. Such weather conditions increase the risk of fires breaking out and spreading rapidly in ecosystems where there are sources of ignition, particularly open flames.
According to meteorologists’ warnings, a high (4th class) and extreme (5th class) fire risk will persist in places across Lviv region until the end of the day on 7 September.
Between 8 and 10 September, a predominantly high (4th class), and in some areas extreme (5th class), fire risk is expected across the region.
In the city of Lviv, a high (4th class) fire risk is forecast for 8–10 September. Residents are urged to refrain from lighting campfires, burning dry vegetation and any other activities involving open flames.
