Minor fluctuations in water levels recorded on rivers in Lviv region

On the rivers of Lviv region, as of 08:00 on 11 June 2026, water levels are largely stable, with only minor rises recorded on some stretches of mountain watercourses. This was reported based on data from the hydrometeorological monitoring network.

Over the past 24 hours, between 0.0 and 12 mm of precipitation fell in parts of Lviv region. On most rivers, no significant changes in water levels were recorded; only on certain sections of mountain tributaries of the Dniester and rivers in the Western Bug basin was a slight rise of 1–10 cm observed.

In the area of the hydrological monitoring station on the Dniester River near the urban-type settlement of Rozdil, the water level remains below the mark of the minimum multi-year value for the entire period of observations and is 90 cm above the gauge zero.

Water temperature in the rivers of the region ranged between 9–23°, with the lowest readings recorded on some mountain tributaries in the Dniester basin.

According to expert guidance, over the next 24 hours, due to expected precipitation, most rivers in the Dniester basin will see rising water levels. On lowland rivers in the Sian and Western Bug basins, minor fluctuations in levels are expected.
