The Novoyavorivsk community continues to work on expanding the rehabilitation department at the Novoyavorivsk Hospital KNP named after Yurii Lypa. This important project is being realised thanks to the charitable assistance of the MoveUkraine foundation. The founder of the foundation, John Shmorhun, visited the hospital for discussions with local leaders.
During the meeting, attendees discussed the progress of the project, inspecting the premises where dismantling works have already begun. The collaboration with MoveUkraine became possible due to the hospital’s proactive approach in reaching out to international foundations for support.
As a result of the project, the repair of an additional facility, improvement of the technical base, and purchasing necessary equipment is expected. These efforts will allow the increase of inpatient rehabilitation care to 100 patients monthly, while outpatient care will increase by 30%.
