Equipment for Newborns in Lviv Children’s Hospital

Lviv’s St Nicholas Children’s Hospital has received new equipment that is critically important for saving infants who require intensive care from the very first moments of life. This equipment includes a transport incubator with a ventilator, which allows for the safe transportation of newborns within the hospital.

Thanks to this incubator, it is possible to maintain the optimal body temperature of the child and perform resuscitation actions without wasting precious time. This equipment was purchased as part of the “Energy of Life” project, implemented by SOCAR petrol stations, the UNBROKEN centre, and the platform dobro.ua.

Thousands of premature babies are born in Ukraine each year, for whom the first days of life are critically important. The availability of new medical equipment enables medical staff to act quickly and efficiently, significantly increasing the chances of survival for these children.

Charitable donations, including campaigns at SOCAR petrol stations, contributed to the purchase of the incubator and other vital equipment for the hospital, which is one of the largest children’s medical facilities in the country.
