One of the world’s leading specialists in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. David Lowe, has once again visited Lviv.
His third charitable visit to the ‘Okhmatdyt’ Hospital began with consultations of children with the most complex facial and neck deformities. This time, the specialists selected the most challenging clinical cases for collaboration. Ahead are joint operations.
Dr. Lowe has already familiarized himself with the patients and the outcomes of interventions carried out by the team before his arrival. The American specialist highly praised the level of surgery and the individualized approach to each child. ‘Each patient is a unique reconstructive challenge,’ Dr. Lowe states.
Dr. Lowe is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and has worked for over 30 years at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is a recognized specialist in secondary reconstructive surgeries, particularly those related to speech disorders, deformities of the lips, nose, and palate.
