For 16 July, forecasters predict a predominantly low level of fire danger — Class 2, with some areas expected to see a moderate — Class 3 and high — Class 4 level. In the town of Kamianka-Buzka, an extreme level of fire danger (Class 5) has been declared.
It is noted that, overall, the weather conditions will be conducive to a low likelihood of the occurrence and spread of fires in ecosystems; however, where sources of ignition are present, particularly open flames, the risk of fires remains.
