The Centre for Pulmonary Health’s mobile X-ray unit will continue visiting communities in the Lviv region throughout August. Residents of a number of localities in the Peremyshliany, Khyriv, Stryi, Krasne and Trostianets communities will be able to undergo a free X-ray examination of the organs of the chest.
The mobile team of the municipal non-profit enterprise of the Lviv Regional Council “Lviv Regional Phthisiopulmonology Clinical Treatment and Diagnostic Centre” will be working in the communities during August.
“Regular visits by the mobile X-ray unit make it possible to detect tuberculosis and other lung diseases at an early stage, when treatment is most effective. It is particularly important for people with a prolonged cough, shortness of breath, raised temperature without an obvious cause, weight loss, as well as those who belong to risk groups, to undergo an examination,” the Centre for Pulmonary Health notes.
