A six-year-old boy, whom rescuers pulled from the rubble of a residential building after a Russian missile strike on Lviv on 30 July, has been discharged from St Nicholas Hospital of the First Lviv Medical Association.
The child was trapped under the rubble after a Russian missile hit a building at 25 Patona Street. Rescuers freed the boy and immediately handed him over to medics, who took him to St Nicholas Hospital and provided the necessary care.
According to doctors from the First Lviv Medical Association, the boy can now continue his recovery at home. He still faces a period of rehabilitation, but doctors assess his condition as positive.
As of 1 August, seven people injured in the massive missile attack on the city remain in Lviv hospitals. During the 30 July bombardment, hits on residential buildings were recorded on Vyhovskoho and Patona streets. In total, more than 20 buildings, a lyceum, a nursery and a library were damaged. One person was killed and more than 30 people were wounded.
