“As soon as the equipment was installed in the office, we immediately started examining patients. Since the equipment is modern, multi-functional, it takes some time to familiarize yourself with the capabilities of the equipment and begin a full diagnosis of patients,” said Lyudmila Yarovych, a gynecologist at the Sosniv City Hospital.
“During this week, we examined pregnant women in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimesters, as well as patients with gynecological and even oncological pathologies. This ultrasound machine is valuable for the doctors of the Sosniv city hospital and the residents of the community, primarily because it has expanded possibilities for examining patients with various pathologies and for various indications.
Thanks to the presence of six sensors, this equipment can be used to carry out not only gynecological diagnostics, but also cardiological and urological examinations, studies of blood vessels, small organs, chest, and musculoskeletal system,” the doctor noted.
During the first week, gynecologist Lyudmila Yarovych examined 15 pregnant and gynecological patients.
