Today, June 14, a regular session of the Lviv Regional Council was held, at which they voted for the transformation of three municipal institutions of the regional council into municipal non-profit enterprises.
These are “Lviv Regional Pathological Bureau”, “Orphanage №1 for children with central nervous system disorders and mental disorders” and “Orphanage №2 for children with central nervous system disorders and mental disorders”.
According to the decision of the deputies, these communal institutions should become communal non-profit enterprises. This will allow them to enter into service package agreements with the National Health Service of Ukraine and receive funding for the services provided. Changing the form of management in the future should increase the efficiency of budget funds and improve wages and working conditions for employees.
“The transformation of three institutions into municipal non-profit enterprises will allow them to contract with the National Health Service of Ukraine. Signing contracts with the National Health Insurance Fund for the provision of services is a necessary condition for improving the services of health care facilities in the region, “said Orest Chemerys, Director of the Health Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
