Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise of the Lviv Regional Council “Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre” has received a modern rehabilitation system for restoring walking skills in patients. The equipment was provided to the facility by the “Child’s Future” Charitable Foundation.
The new system is already being used in sessions with children under the supervision of doctors, physical therapists and rehabilitation specialists. It helps restore motor functions, improves coordination and balance, and builds confidence when walking.
The design of the parallel bars with adjustable handrails and modular obstacles makes it possible to safely practise independent mobility skills, overcome various barriers and gradually return to a more active life.
“Each such initiative is a contribution to the future of children who need quality rehabilitation. Thanks to these partnerships, children gain access to modern equipment that helps achieve better recovery outcomes,” noted the staff of the municipal institution.
During the handover of the equipment, representatives of the charitable foundation inspected the conditions in which children stay at the Centre, familiarised themselves with the organisation of the rehabilitation process and discussed the institution’s further needs with the management.
