Meteorologists warn of an extreme (5th class) level of fire danger in Lviv region. On 8 August, such conditions are expected across most of the region.
The weather will contribute to a high risk of fires starting and spreading rapidly in ecosystems wherever there are sources of open flame.
According to the forecast, from 8 to 10 August an extreme fire danger will persist across most of Lviv region, so residents are being urged to exercise maximum caution with fire in open areas.
