Cerebral angiography has been performed for the first time at the Lviv Regional Clinical Therapeutic and Diagnostic Cardiology Centre. This examination became possible after the opening of a neurology department at the facility and marked the beginning of a new direction in treating patients with cerebrovascular diseases.
The cardiology centre emphasises that modern medicine requires close cooperation between different specialties, as the cardiovascular system and the brain are closely interconnected.
«We live in a time when medicine cannot exist as separate specialties. The heart and the brain are inextricably linked. That is why a modern cardiology centre must be a place where knowledge, experience and technologies from different fields come together for the sake of what matters most – the patient’s life. We thank the entire team for their professionalism, support and belief in our common cause», – зазначили в кардіоцентрі.
They also remind us that on 3 February the Lviv Regional Council adopted a decision to merge the Lviv Regional Clinical Therapeutic and Diagnostic Cardiology Centre with the Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Repressed Persons named after Yu. Lypa.
