Water quality in Lviv swimming pools inspected: no violations detected

Another round of water quality checks has been carried out in Lviv’s municipal swimming pools. Staff from the chemical laboratory of the municipal enterprise “Administrative and Technical Management” took eight water samples from various facilities across the city on 2 June.

The inspection covered the following pools: “Delfin” on 12a Tryliovskoho St (25-metre pool), GD “LOO FST “Dynamo” on 53 Vitovskoho St, the “Plyazh” water park on 114 Kn. Olhy St (50-metre pool), the “UNIFORCE” fitness complex on 18 Melnyka St, the “Try stykhii” wellness centre on 36 Shchyretska St (children’s, 25- and 50-metre pools), as well as the training and sports base for summer sports of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (SKA) on 39a Kleparivska St (indoor pool).

According to the laboratory, none of the samples taken showed any exceedance of the maximum permissible concentrations. The water quality indicators comply with the established standards.

At the outdoor pool of the training and sports base for summer sports of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (SKA), the water was replaced between 1 and 7 June 2026.

Registration has also opened in Lviv for free swimming lessons for schoolchildren. The programme will cover 18 school pools in different districts of the city and will run throughout the summer holidays.
