In Lviv, 11,000 People Checked Their Health for Free

From June 3 to 7, a city-wide campaign “Health Week” took place in Lviv.

Medical tents were set up at 31 locations throughout the community, where anyone could check their health for free. During this period, 10,813 people took advantage of this opportunity.

“We organized Health Week to once again remind people of the importance of taking care of their health. As we have gone through both the COVID virus and now a full-scale invasion, people are extremely anxious and do not visit family doctors as often as needed, leading to an increase in neglected certain diseases. We had medical tents at 31 locations, covering our entire community. This campaign has already become very popular, as in just 5 days, the tent camps were visited by nearly 11,000 residents. Most people underwent comprehensive examinations — checking blood pressure, vision, blood sugar levels, and other assessments simultaneously,” noted the head of the city health department, Marta Matiushko.
