On 16 June, gusts of westerly wind with speeds of 15–20 m/s are forecast in Lviv during the day. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Hydrometeorological Centre.
The city Department for Civil Protection and Territorial Defence urges residents to take the weather forecast into account and follow basic safety rules.
During strong winds, it is recommended to avoid large trees, power lines, aerials, billboards and other massive structures, as they may be damaged by the bad weather and injure people nearby.
In the event of unforeseen situations, residents are asked to call the city’s “Hotline” on 15–80.
