Doctors note a certain increase in the number of coronavirus patients, but the level of hospitalization remains at approximately the same level. The situation is monitored daily and, if necessary, operational decisions will be made.
The City Hall once again calls for vaccination, because vaccination minimizes the risk of fatal complications.
“As of today, 135 patients with covid have been hospitalized in our city medical institutions, including 15 children. We can say that the number of positive tests has been increasing in recent weeks. If we talk about hospitalization, then it remains approximately at the same level with a slight increase.
The virus mainly affects those who have concomitant diseases. Among those hospitalized, there are no those who took a booster dose. Therefore, we emphasize that it is very important to get vaccinated as much as possible now. In addition, if there are even the slightest signs of the disease, you need to take a test and self-isolate so as not to put others at risk.
We are monitoring the situation, if there is a need for additional measures, we will inform about it,” commented Andriy Moskalenko, First Deputy Mayor of Lviv.
By the way, now in Lviv there are 9 stationary vaccination points in city polyclinics, where you can get vaccinated with the first or second dose of the vaccine, or revaccinate – that is, give a booster dose.
You can make an appointment for vaccination by calling the phone number of the polyclinic or at your family doctor or by yourself in the Helsi system.
