In Lviv, a baby was born in a bomb shelter during an air raid

A girl was born in the bomb shelter of the Third Medical Association of Lviv during an air raid. She was called Solomiyka. The girl’s mother, Valeria, admits that she was not afraid of anything, on the contrary, she felt safe, because she knew that she was under the supervision of qualified specialists.

“Everything happened very quickly. I am very grateful to my doctor and all the staff who were there,” Valeriya says.

The girl was born yesterday, January 19, around 12:00 p.m., when there was an air raid.

The woman shared that she was ready to give birth in wartime conditions, because doctors, so that future mothers feel safe, conduct a familiarization tour not only of the department, but also of the delivery room in the bomb shelter, in case of an air raid.

By the way, during the war more than three thousand babies were born in Lviv city maternity hospitals (Maternity House No. 1, Maternity Department of the 3rd Hospital and Maternity Department of St. Nicholas Hospital).
