In Lviv, a new magnetic resonance imaging machine, donated by the Polish government, will operate in St. Luke’s Hospital

The new magnetic resonance imaging machine will now work in the St. Luke’s Hospital in Lviv. Residents of Ukraine from any part of our country who have suffered from the war can undergo an examination on it free of charge.

This was announced by the head of the LODA, Maksym Kozytskyi.

A modern and fast MRI machine is a gift from the Polish government to our government. It was handed over today by Jacek Šewera, the State Secretary of the Office of the President of Poland, during the visit of the first lady of the Republic of Poland, Agatha Kornhauser-Duda, to the Lviv region.

Such a class of equipment has not been available in medical facilities in the west of Ukraine until now. Up to 40 people can be examined per day with the help of this device.

This is another confirmation that Poland is with us. Thank you for your sincere and comprehensive help!
